Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was morning news anchor at WCBD TV and also as a crime reporter. O'Dell's reportage in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these incidents. In the year 2000, Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell with her Best Report of the year Award to all South Carolina media. In the years following her stint in Charleston O'Dell served as anchor, co-anchor, and investigative reporter for NBC's Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter. Additionally, she is co-anchor for Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She was a reporter for events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. Alongside co-hosting the Pre-ShowArrivals to The Emmys & The Golden Globes. The other shows she has hosted include Miss USA, the Miss USA pageant, and Miss Universe.
